Purpose of the Job

- Participate in the correct execution of maintenance work that ATEINSA performs in maintenance workshops, ensuring compliance with quality indices and requirements established by the Direction, as well as maintenance plans.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on railway material.

Duties

• Execution of planned preventive and corrective tasks according to the Maintenance Plan and ensuring the correct use of existing industrial documentation.
• Solution of incidents detected during maintenance of railway vehicles.
• Compliance with necessary records to evidence maintenance tasks, campaigns performed according to company procedure.

• Repairing defects and reviewing and testing units.
• Performing protocols, tests on electromechanical components.
• Analyzing and diagnosing defects.

• Maintenance of order and cleanliness in the workplace.
• Soliciting and collecting material from the warehouse necessary for maintenance operations, following defined procedures.
• Correct use of individual and collective machinery, as well as equipment at the workshop (e.g. elevators, conveyor belts, and trolleys).

• Performing protocols and/or tests on electromechanical components.

• Collaboration in executing modification and follow-up campaigns for rolling stock at the workshop.
• Collaboration in continuous improvement.
• Notifying superior hierarchical officer of incidents/ near-accidents affecting Railway Safety.
• Compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Labor Health Standards.

Required Education

Obligatory:

• Higher Education Diploma or Equivalent in mechanics, electricity, electronics, automotive/propelled vehicles or similar
• Secondary Education Obligatoria with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in railway maintenance
• Languages: Fluent Spanish

Valuable:

• Vocational Training Diploma in Railway Rolling Stock Maintenance
• Techical knowledge of railway regulations
• Certification for handling elevated platforms
• Certification for working at heights
• Certification for handling cranes
• Certification for moving trains (jockey)
• Certification for handling fluorinated gases
• Certification on electrical risks

Experience

Obligatory:

• 6 months of experience in a similar position in railway maintenance
