Maintenance Operator
Job description
The main function of this position consists of carrying out comprehensive maintenance activities within an industrial environment. This includes the execution of preventive maintenance, which focuses on regular inspection and scheduled care of machinery to prevent failures. Likewise, predictive maintenance is carried out, using analysis and monitoring to anticipate possible breakdowns before they occur. Finally, corrective maintenance is also performed, which involves the repair and tuning of equipment once an incident has occurred. The facilities and equipment under responsibility encompass diverse and critical systems, such as overhead cranes, oxy-cutting and plasma cutting machines, as well as precision machining centers. The work also includes working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems that are an integral part of the machinery's operation, ensuring that all components operate under the correct pressure and force parameters. A fundamental aspect of the role is the continuous control of the correct functioning of all machinery, which requires meticulous observation and the ability to diagnose irregularities in equipment behavior. This constant monitoring is vital to guarantee productivity, safety in the work area, and the extension of the lifespan of industrial assets. The person in this position plays a key role in the operational sustainability of the plant, contributing to minimizing unplanned downtime and optimizing available resources to maintain an efficient and safe production flow.
Salary remuneration is established in accordance with the collective agreement of the metal sector, taking as a reference the professional categories of First, Second, or Third Class Worker, depending on the candidate's merit and experience. The working day is carried out in rotating shifts, with hours that can be from 06:00 to 14:00 or from 15:00 to 23:00, from Monday to Friday. The initial contractual modality is a fixed-term contract for a period of three months, which is subject to extension for another three additional months. After this trial and evaluation period, there is the possibility of permanent incorporation into the company's staff, subject to satisfactory performance and organizational needs.
