Warehouse Operative - Rotating Shift

The position involves handling materials in a logistics warehouse environment, including loading and unloading trucks using a front forklift on the dock. The main tasks consist of preparing orders for raw material drums, ensuring that products are correctly identified and ready for shipment. The placement of palletized material on shelves is carried out using front and reach forklifts, optimizing available warehouse space and facilitating subsequent access. The organization and cleaning of the workstation are key responsibilities, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, in addition to basic maintenance of the machinery used to ensure its correct operation and safety. The work is carried out in a rotating shift system that covers 24 hours a day, adapting to the operational needs of the warehouse and the logistics planning established by the company to ensure service continuity. The role requires constant attention to established safety and quality procedures, following the supervisor's instructions and collaborating with the team to meet daily production and distribution objectives. The work environment is dynamic and physical, where precision and efficiency in handling goods are fundamental to the success of logistics operations, contributing directly to the company's supply chain. Adaptation to different shifts and the ability to work autonomously, following specific protocols, are essential aspects for effective performance in this position within the industrial sector.
The initial contract is for 6 months with the possibility of extension for another 6 months and subsequent conversion to a permanent contract, offering stable employment with immediate incorporation. The salary during the first 6 months is 2000 euros gross per month, then increasing to 2300 euros gross per month after conversion. The working hours are in rotating shifts that include morning from 06:00h to 14:00h, afternoon from 14:00h to 22:00h, and night from 22:00h to 06:00h, with weekly rotation that ensures an equitable distribution of shifts among the staff.
