Within the Merchant Ships Division, we are seeking resources for the Monfalcone shipyard to be hired as Operators for the operation of Engine Room systems.

The resource will be involved in the outfitting, operation, and maintenance of systems until ship delivery, intervening to ensure the expected performance in terms of efficiency and economy, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Activities
Specifically, the resource will have to perform the following activities:

• Read and interpret technical documentation;
• Pressurize and flush piping and engine room systems and perform configuration verification of the systems;
• Oversee the start-up and subsequent watch of generator sets and systems (boilers, purifiers, etc.);
• Manage and operate engine room systems during quay and sea trials until ship delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma in mechanical and/or naval specialization;
• Basic knowledge of the English language;
• Team working predisposition;
• Problem-solving skills;
• Availability to work in shifts;
• Previous experience in similar roles is welcome;
• Knowledge of turning activities is a preferential requirement.

• Gross annual salary between €27,000 and €31,000;
