Job description
Job Objective
We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator with proven experience in metalworking companies and in the preparation, adjustment, and operation of CNC machinery. You will be responsible for manufacturing parts according to drawings, specifications, and production programs, ensuring the safety, quality, and productivity of the process.
.Indispensable Requirements
High school diploma or technical degree desirable. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes. Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing machines, performing model changes, setups, and adjustments. Proven proficiency with CNC lathes from the brands Fuji, Mazak, Doosan DN Solutions, Okuma, and MoriSeiki. Must know how to perform complete machine preparation, including oChuck, collet, and jaw mounting. oTooling, insert, and toolholder installation and adjustment. oBar feeder preparation, where applicable. oZero setting and offset adjustment. oModel changes and process fine-tuning. Interpretation of drawings, dimensional and geometric tolerances, and surface finishes. Use of calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, comparators, and go/no-go gauges. Knowledge of facing, grooving, drilling, boring, threading, and parting operations. Availability to work shifts, perform overtime, and rotate equipment according to production needs.
