Laundry Operator

The Laundry Operator is responsible for providing an impeccable service to hotel guests and departments on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to communicate.
• Able to work different shifts to fulfill tasks and responsibilities.
• Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work as a team.
• Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Classify dirty linen.
• Load washing machines with linen and use the appropriate process.
• Load dryers with linen and use the appropriate process.
• Fold towels in an adequate manner.
• Use the mangle correctly through proper programming.
• Review linen conditions and report any damaged items.
• Rerun rejected laundry loads with the correct formula.
• Verify guest laundry instructions before processing clothes.
• Verify guest clothes for damage and report it to your supervisor if necessary.
• Review uniform and guest clothing bags to prevent loss at the laundry.
• Present the final product in an impeccable manner, following Standards and procedures.
• Manage assigned laundry processes during working hours.
• E nsure having the right materials and using them correctly.
