WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU: Heavy Machinery Operator

Your main mission will be to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently within the quarry, ensuring the extraction, movement, loading, and conditioning of materials to ensure the continuity of operations, compliance with production plans, and the safety standards established by Holcim.

Your main challenges will be:

• Operate front-end loaders and excavators under safe and productive conditions.
• Perform activities such as stripping, clearing, profiling slopes, and conditioning areas for drilling.
• Execute the loading of materials such as limestone, pozzolana, topsoil, and raw materials onto haul trucks.
• Ensure continuous material feed to the crusher.
• Maintain roads, ditches, emergency ramps, and operational areas in optimal condition.
• Meet production targets without compromising safety.
• Timely detect mechanical anomalies and report them to the maintenance department.
• Maintain high standards of industrial safety and environmental care.

Work location: Tecomán Cement Plant

Rotating schedule: Rotating shifts from Monday to Saturday with Sundays off.

• 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Availability for overtime, shift changes, and extended hours according to operational needs.

Indispensable requirements:

• Education: Completed High School
• Experience: Minimum 2 years operating heavy machinery in quarry, mining, construction, or heavy industry, operating a front-end loader, excavator, backhoe loader, skip loader, or similar.

Technical Knowledge

• Material movement and loading.
• Safe operation of heavy machinery.
• Pre-operational equipment inspection.
• Defensive driving.
• Industrial safety and use of PPE.
• Reporting of failures and unsafe conditions.
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance.

Desirable Certifications

• DC3 in heavy machinery operation.
• DC3 in defensive driving.
• Industrial safety courses.
