OpenShift Consultant - Rome, Italy

About the Job: The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a OpenShift Consultant to join us in Rome, Italy. In this role, you will help our customers create possibilities, solve problems, and build strong working relationships. You'll explain the benefits of Red Hat's cloud solutions and gain a deep understanding of our customers' infrastructure and business needs. As a consultant, you'll work closely with customers on specific initiatives, including the architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of their Red Hat OpenShift environments. What you will do: Provide technical expertise and guidance on Red Hat OpenShift and related technologies to customers. Design, implement, and support OpenShift solutions in customer environments. Collaborate with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide training and knowledge transfer to customer teams. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to OpenShift. Contribute to the development of best practices and documentation. Participate in pre-sales activities, such as presentations and demonstrations. What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience in a consulting or technical role, working with cloud technologies. Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel to customer sites as needed. The following skills are considered a plus: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification. Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
