Open-Source Program Manager/Coordinator @ Hitachi Energy

Your Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in program coordination, preferably in open-source, software governance, or risk management contexts. Familiarity with OSS licensing, compliance tools (e.g., Black Duck), SBOM creation, and internal approval workflows. Understanding of operational risks in OSS ecosystems. Strong organizational and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across legal, security, and engineering teams. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and sales. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks. Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
