This role bridges software engineering, legal, and compliance functions to ensure our use of open-source software (OSS) complies with licensing obligations and aligns with our product and business goals. You will primarily assess open-source licenses, identify potential issues, and develop strategies for resolving them. Your work will involve analyzing software components, identifying dependencies, and ensuring that all necessary licenses are properly obtained or managed. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OSS into our products and services. This role requires a strong understanding of open-source licensing, software engineering, and compliance regulations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about open-source software and has experience working with FOSSA, SBOM, and ISO/IEC standards.
