This role bridges software engineering, legal, and compliance functions to ensure our use of open-source software (OSS) complies with licensing obligations and aligns with our product and business goals. You will primarily assess open-source license obligations, identify potential issues, and develop strategies for addressing them. Your work will involve analyzing software components, identifying dependencies, and ensuring that all necessary licenses are properly obtained or managed. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OSS into our products and services, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in open-source licensing and standards, such as ISO/IEC 5230:2021, and applying this knowledge to ensure our use of OSS remains compliant.
