INTERNAL VACANCY: Logistics Consultant – Onsite (Coventry, CV8) Salary : £26,000 per annum monthly bonus opportunities Hours : Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (with out-of-hours expectations) Benefits : Private healthcare, 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), clear progression pathway to Account Manager We are looking for a driven and experienced Logistics Consultant to join our Transport division, working onsite with one of our well-known, industry-leading clients based in Coventry (CV8). As an Onsite Logistics Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the client, managing their transport operations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage all aspects of the client's transport operations. * Build and maintain strong relationships with the client's team. * Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize transport processes. * Monitor and analyze transport performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. * Coordinate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service. * Manage and resolve any transport-related issues or escalations. * Provide training and support to client staff as needed. * Work closely with the client to implement new transport strategies and initiatives. * Ensure the safe and secure handling of goods throughout the transport process. What we are looking for: * Proven experience in a logistics or transport role. * Strong understanding of transport operations and processes. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Experience working with transport management systems (TMS) is a plus. * Flexibility and willingness to work out-of-hours as required.
