You enjoy writing, are interested in technology, and don't want to write about software just anywhere, but rather sit right next to the developers who build it? Then TenMedia is the right place for you. For over 14 years, we have been developing custom software in the heart of Berlin for SMEs, public authorities, and critical infrastructure operators. We are looking for you to make our topics understandable and visible, through blog, manuals, podcasts, audio, and video, and with a strong presence on Google and in AI searches.

In this position, you will be responsible for our editorial content and its visibility. You will research, write, and produce across multiple formats, make our content discoverable via SEO on Google and in AI searches, and develop new formats together with us.

More important to us than a specific number of years of professional experience is that you write with style, understand SEO, and enjoy clarifying complex topics. Career changers are welcome. Whether from journalism, PR and communications, online marketing, technical writing, or a degree in media or humanities, if you write well and can immerse yourself in software topics, we expressly welcome your application. Convince us with writing samples instead of certificates.

Tasks

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for the SEO and AI visibility of our content, from keyword research and on-page optimization to revising existing texts, so that we are found on Google and in AI searches.
• You will research, plan, and write blog posts on our topics, in an understandable, readable manner and with your own distinct style.
• Beyond text, you will produce content in other formats, such as podcasts, audio, and video.
• You will explain what our software can do and develop topics together with the developers.
• You will write manuals and instructions clearly enough for people and AI models to understand them.
• You will develop your own ideas and new formats.

Qualifications

What you bring

• You write with style in German.
• You have a solid understanding of SEO, from keyword research to on-page optimization, and make content visible in a data-driven way.
• You are curious about technology and enjoy delving into software topics, with a basic understanding of what databases, CMS, or frameworks are, for example.
• You enjoy using AI tools in your daily work.
• You work independently and communicate clearly and enjoy teamwork.
• PLUS: Experience in producing other formats like podcasts, audio, or video.
