Job Opportunity: Psychotherapist / Counsellor
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Psychotherapist or Counsellor to join our growing team. In this role, you will deliver 50-minute online sessions, supporting a diverse client base and helping them navigate life’s challenges with professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 50-minute online therapy sessions, ensuring high-quality and client-centred care.

Apply a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Keep accurate, confidential records in line with ethical and legal requirements.

Engage in regular team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Offer flexible availability, including evenings or weekends where possible.

Additional: Counsellors providing couple therapy will receive a higher session rate — please indicate if this applies to you.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Psychotherapist or Counsellor.

Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships.

Awareness and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds in the UK and South Africa.

Comfortable working exclusively online.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private space for sessions.

Professional, ethical, and empathetic approach to client care.

Membership or registration with a recognised regulatory body (e.g., HPCSA, UKCP, BACP, NCPS).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Knowledge of multiple therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, Person-Centred Therapy).
