Do you want to work as a nurse, but also see some of the world? As a Junior Officer Nurse in the Navy, you will work worldwide on ships and with units of the Marine Corps. You often work independently, but you are never alone.

Note: If you are hired for this position, you will be employed by the Ministry of Defence as a "Junior Officer Logistics Service Medical Service (LDGD)".

What you will do

After your training, you will start working as a Corporal with the fleet or the Marine Corps. You will perform pre-diagnoses, conduct physical examinations, and provide patient care. You will independently treat the most common minor ailments. You will also work in emergency care.
As a Junior Officer Nurse in the Navy, you must have sea legs. Sailing on navy ships and deployments to crisis areas are an integral part of your job. You must also be physically fit to provide medical support to the Marine Corps with a medical backpack in various circumstances and terrains. As a nurse, you can also work aboard a submarine.
