Officer Operational Service

Introductory text Note! This vacancy will open again around mid-2026. Do you want an adventurous job on board a naval ship? And do you have a HAVO or MBO 4 diploma? As Officer Operational Service at the Navy, you'll watch over the safety of the area around the ship with your team. This is what you'll do As Officer Operational Service, you'll work on the safety in the area around the ship. You'll be involved, for example, in building sea and air images, in air traffic control, and in coordinating with other ships and shore-based units. Your tasks will include monitoring and reporting on the situation, providing situational awareness to your team, and making decisions based on that information. You'll also be responsible for maintaining order and discipline on board, as well as ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
