What you will do

As Sergeant MSMH, you are a master in the field of sterilizing medical devices. In addition, assembling surgical sets. Where you will work

After entering service, you will first follow a specialist training at the Royal Military School in Ermelo. During the training, you will be taught the basic principles of the military profession.

Then you will work within the Sterilization Group of a Hospital Company belonging to 400 Medical Battalion in Ermelo. This battalion is part of the Royal Netherlands Army. 400 Medical Battalion provides medical support to the various branches of the armed forces at home and abroad, as well as humanitarian aid. A particularly fascinating and dynamic work environment therefore! Within this playing field, as Sergeant MSMH, you are responsible for keeping medical equipment and your own sterilization module in good condition. As Sergeant MSMH, you have a realistic chance of being deployed or experiencing part of a deployment abroad. You will then be employed at a military base or on board a naval vessel to perform your sterilization function. An important and indispensable task and a unique experience for life!
