What you will do

As a Non-commissioned Officer Logistics, you will work in a military logistics team within one of the operational brigades of the Marechaussee. These brigades have various tasks, such as border control at airports and seaports, military police duties, security, support for the police, and international missions.

You will ensure that all goods flows within your brigade run smoothly. You coordinate, organize, and control logistics. If something goes wrong? Then you will identify the problem and solve it.
You will work with modern and complex systems that support operations and communication. During your career, you may be temporarily deployed for (international) missions or national operations.

Where you will work

You will start working in support of the brigades of the National Tactical Command (LTC).

Before you begin as a Non-commissioned Officer Logistics, you will first complete training. You will start with the non-commissioned officer training in business operations at the Training, Education, and Knowledge Center of the Royal Marechaussee (OTCKMar) in Apeldoorn. The first 10 weeks you will learn the basics of the military profession during the Basic Military Skills (AMBV) training. You will train in map reading, shooting, and first aid. During this period, you will sleep at the barracks. Afterwards, you will follow a 2-week leadership module, where you will learn how to lead a team.

Subsequently, the vocational technical training in logistics (VTO) will start at the LTC. Here you will learn everything you need for this role.
Have you successfully completed the training? Then you will be immediately operationally deployed to a brigade of the LTC and start your career as a Non-commissioned Officer Logistics!

Note: do you not yet have a swimming diploma? You can still apply! We will then look with you to see if you can obtain that swimming diploma before your appointment. And the best part is: the costs for obtaining a swimming diploma will be reimbursed by Defense!
