Introductory Text
Do you have an (electro)technical diploma and are you interested in everything related to ICT and technology? Of course, you can use your technical talents in, for example, the energy sector as a mechanic. But you can do more with your skills. How about contributing to peace and security worldwide? If you would like to digitally work on Defense's aircraft and weapon systems, then a job as an Electronics Technician in the Air Force is for you.
What you will do
As a Non-Commissioned Officer Electronics, you will maintain parts and components of aviation systems. You will ensure that the (electrical) signals are processed correctly and are displayed, for example, as radar images. Radar images are essential for a pilot and also for an air combat controller to track and control aircraft. Your work is therefore of great importance to the Air Force. You will not only maintain the equipment, but also act as a fault technician where necessary and advise system users. Additionally, you will install and configure the necessary software. If technology is your thing, you will be perfectly at home in this exceptionally challenging environment. Note: If you are hired for this position, you will be appointed by Defense with the job title 'Non-Commissioned Officer Electronics'.
PLUS POINTS OF THIS FUNCTION:

Challenge: You will work with unique equipment in a special work environment and are given a lot of responsibility.
Work atmosphere: You will never find such a close-knit team of colleagues as at Defense.
Where you will work
