A company in Lier specializing in the production of barrels is looking for a maintenance technician. Your tasks:
• Together with colleagues, ensure the minimization of downtime in the production process.
• Assist in the permanent resolution of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns.
• The preventive maintenance of the machinery.
• Contribute to the optimization of the production process.
• Participate in projects for the (further) automation of the production process.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems and communicate about them with colleagues within the plant (both within your own maintenance team and production).
Profile• You have a technical diploma or relevant experience (knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, industrial automation, or controls such as Siemens PLC, frequency converters, and motors)
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch
• You always work safely and accurately
• You are a team player with the necessary sense of responsibility to perform tasks individually
• You are flexible, stress-resistant, and practically oriented
• You are open to following training to update and deepen your knowledge and skills

• A job close to home
• A full-time job of 40 hours/week
• You will work in 3 shifts (early, late, night)
• In addition to your 20 legal vacation days, you have 12 ADV (rest and recovery) days
• A good salary depending on experience, supplemented by shift premiums and meal vouchers of €8/day
• You will end up in a fascinating technical environment
