To support our further growth and strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a maintenance mechanic for our site in Alken.

Your responsibilities

As maintenance mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal and safe operation of our machines and installations. You play a crucial role in analyzing and solving technical issues and performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. Thanks to your technical knowledge and hands-on mentality, you quickly and effectively intervene when problems arise.

• Solving technical issues with machines and installations
• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
• Setting up, adjusting, and maintaining machines
• Dismantling and assembling machine components
• Testing machines after maintenance or repairs
• Collaborating on improvements and optimizations of production processes
• Correctly reporting completed work activities
• Complying with safety, quality, and hygiene regulations
• Participating in the 24/7 on-call duty (day shift with flexible hours)

Qualifications

• You have a strong mechanical background
• You have experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of extrusion machines is an asset
• You work problem-solving, accurately, and independently
• You have a hands-on mentality and think proactively
• You can work well together in team settings
• You place great importance on safety, quality, and order
