Job description
About Cosuno
The construction industry is a 14-billion-euro industry that still runs on emails, spreadsheets, and scanned PDFs. Cosuno is replacing that with AI. General contractors post their projects on our platform to over 250,000 subcontractors, and our agent AI finds suitable companies, identifies anomalies in bids, and compares every price with 6.5 million data points from over 136 billion euros in processed bid volume. Every tender makes the AI smarter. The results are measurable: general contractors reduce their costs by around 6%, subcontractors gain 22% more volume, and every new general contractor customer has opted for our AI product this year. Founded in Berlin in 2019 and financed by Cherry Ventures and Spark Capital with over 40 million euros, we are now scaling Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing with this capital. And that's exactly where you come in.
The Role
You will be assigned new customers every week who have not activated themselves, and you will guide them through the onboarding process: initial contact within a few days, onboarding call via screenshare, setting up profile and search profile, accompanying first bids. Around 40 onboardings per month, each requiring about one and a half hours of total effort including preparation and follow-up.
You are not measured by the calls held, but by the customers who continue on their own afterwards. To achieve this, you will track each customer's activation signals in Salesforce and intervene when someone gets stuck.
You will be the person in the company who most frequently sees where new customers fail. You will feed this knowledge back to Product in a structured manner so that tooltips, product tours, and help texts improve, and more customers activate themselves.
You will report to the Head of Customer Success and work closely with the Sales team, who close the customers, and with the Customer Success Managers, who take over in case of cancellations.
How we will measure you after 12 months
At least 90% of your customers are active 30 days after onboarding – profile complete, search profile set up, first bid submitted.
Every assigned customer has heard from you within three business days.
Salesforce is complete with you: onboarding status, activation signals, hurdles – for every customer.
Who succeeds at Cosuno
Ownership. If a customer is not active after 30 days, you are the first to ask what you could have done differently.
Speed. You call today, not next week. A customer who waits three weeks has forgotten about Cosuno.
Drive. You have already built a script, a checklist, or a process because the old one wasn't working – without anyone asking you to.
Low Ego. You share what works for you so the team gets better.
This role is for you if
you enjoy explaining things and noticing when the other person has truly understood – and when they are just nodding.
you perceive 40 conversations a month as a rhythm, not a burden.
after the third unsuccessful attempt, you call for the fourth time, at a different hour – our customers are on construction sites.
you like craft businesses and speak with a roofer just as you do with an office manager.
This role is not for you if
you understand onboarding as training and tick it off after the call.
you want to process tickets instead of calling customers back.
you want to intensively support ten customers instead of bringing forty into usage.
a number above your desk stresses you out instead of motivating you.
Hard Requirements
At least 1 year in a customer-facing role with volume: onboarding, customer support with activation goals, inside sales, B2B customer service.
Proficient in explaining software via phone and screenshare.
Structured and CRM-disciplined.
Native-level German (C2), good English.
Berlin or willingness to come to the office for some days.
Compensation
€55,000 OTE per year (target salary at 100% target achievement), consisting of a fixed salary and a variable component based on your target achievement.
What we offer
Clarity: A number, a playbook, direct influence on your results – and on the product.
Development: The role is the entry point into Customer Success at Cosuno; the next step is Retention Sales or Product Enablement.
Contract: Permanent, modern equipment.
Work Location: Berlin-Kreuzberg or hybrid, you choose.
Team: Regular 1:1s, open feedback culture, company and team events.
Compensation: €50K – €55K • €55,000 OTE per year (target salary at 100% target achievement), consisting of a fixed salary and a variable component based on your target achievement.
- • €50K – €55K • €55,000 OTE per year (target salary at 100% target achievement), consisting of a fixed salary and a variable component based on your target achievement.
