Independent Trust Officer Care and Support

For Gemeente Utrechtse Heuvelrug, we are looking for an Independent Trust Officer Care and Support. Do you have an independent listening ear and can you pioneer? The municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug has approximately 50,000 residents in a beautiful, green environment with village centers that each have their own identity and cultural-historical value. Service-oriented, environmentally aware, and responsible are important core values for this municipality. You will work on behalf of the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, within the theme of Society. Purpose of the function Your main task as an independent trust officer Care and Support is to provide residents with a low-threshold opportunity to express dissatisfaction in this area. Not every resident dares to file a complaint or make a protest. With your independent listening ear, you offer a solution, especially since it concerns vulnerable groups. You create an accessible provision where residents can turn to their dissatisfaction, so that signals do not remain under the radar. In addition, you help to gain insight into areas where policy can be improved. Complaints and signals of dissatisfaction are essential to identify improvement points. Your tasks

• You hold (telephone) consultation hours for residents (at least once every two weeks) and are also available outside those hours for questions.
• You investigate resident signals.
• You refer residents warmly to existing complaint or protest procedures.
• You organize breakthrough sessions or round-table discussions with residents and other stakeholders in the social domain.
• You provide periodic reports to the municipal council.

Your profile

• You have experience as an independent trust officer.
• You can take an independent position vis-à-vis residents, the municipality, and other players in the social domain.
• You switch smoothly between different levels, from alderman to resident, and from civil servant to provider or consultant of the village team.
• You have a friendly appearance and great empathy, but can also act businesslike and decisive.
• You are communicatively strong.
• You are proactive.
