O&M Manager - Biogas

Company Information

Risorse Professional, a company specializing in the Search and Selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is seeking for a client company operating in the renewable energy sector an O&M Manager to be integrated into the structure dedicated to the management and maintenance of biogas and biomethane plants.

Role Information

The figure will have a role of coordination and supervision of Operation & Maintenance activities, ensuring the correct functioning of the plants, compliance with safety and performance standards, and effective management of internal and external resources involved in maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the Operation & Maintenance activities of biogas and biomethane plants;
• Manage and coordinate internal technical resources and external suppliers involved in O&M activities;
• Plan ordinary, preventive, and extraordinary maintenance interventions;
• Monitor the correct functioning of the plants and analyze their performance, availability, and any anomalies;
• Supervise activities carried out by technicians and maintenance companies, verifying their quality, timing, and adherence to procedures;
• Manage relationships with suppliers, maintenance providers, service companies, and other technical partners;
• Monitor compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and performance objectives defined for the plants;
• Analyze maintenance costs and support the management and control of the O&M budget;
• Verify and supervise the correct application of company procedures regarding Health, Safety, and Environment;
• Manage technical documentation related to maintenance activities and plants;
• Support activities for improving plant efficiency and reliability, identifying any optimization interventions;
• Collaborate with the Engineering, Asset Management, and Operations functions in managing technical and operational issues;
• Prepare periodic reports regarding the status of the plants, maintenance activities, and key operational performance.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma and/or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Energy, Electrical, or similar fields;
• At least 5 years of experience in plant management and maintenance, preferably in the biogas and/or biomethane sector;
• Experience in managing O&M activities and in coordinating technical resources and suppliers;
• Knowledge of the main principles of preventive, corrective, and extraordinary maintenance;
• Ability to analyze performance and identify key technical criticalities;
• Good organizational and planning skills;
• Autonomy in managing activities and problem-solving skills;
• Good interpersonal and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders;
• Availability for travel to plants located in the territory.

Other Information

• Work location: to be defined based on candidate's location;
• Smart Working: 2 days per week;
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €50,000 – €70,000, commensurate with experience;
• Integration into a structured company and a context of strong development in the renewable energy sector.
