What you will do

Our naval ships and our units of the Marine Corps are deployable worldwide, under all circumstances, for extended periods. Good logistical support is essential for this. As a Logistics Officer Business Administration, you are responsible for the entire logistics chain. Both with the fleet and with the Marine Corps. This means that together with your team, you will ensure supply and inventory management, personnel and financial administration and management, catering, and facility support so that the mission and operation can be carried out jointly.

Where you will work

After your training, you can start as a Junior Head of the Logistics Service on board a ship. Afterwards, you will alternate sea assignments with administrative functions or support functions on shore or with the Marine Corps.
But first, you will start as a Midshipman at the Royal Netherlands Naval College (KIM) in Den Helder for the General Military Naval Officer Training, the Technical Training, and your Bachelor's Degree. During your four years and eleven months of training, you will also go to sea to experience working and living together with your teammates on board.
