You will coordinate, plan, and control the flow of goods within the Air Force. And that is a very important task.

What you will do

As a Logistics Officer, you will coordinate, plan, and control the flow of goods within the Air Force. You will deal with modern and complex (weapon) systems, such as aircraft and helicopters, but also with (mission) support systems like communication and radar systems. You ensure that all Air Force units have the right equipment on time to carry out their tasks. We have various positions in all sorts of logistics areas, such as Supply Chain Management, Transport, Procurement, Warehousing & Distribution, Facilities Management, and Operational Logistics. Do you have leadership and management skills and a feel for logistics? Then this is your challenge.

Where you will work

You can work in various locations. For example, at the Main Support Base of the Air Force in Woensdrecht, at one of the operational units, at the Direct Materiel Organisation (DMO), or within another branch of the armed forces. Before you start working, you will follow the four-year Military Scientific Education (MWO) at the Royal Military Academy in Breda and a vocational training of several months. The Military Scientific Education you will follow is the bachelor's degree program in Military Business Administration (MBW).

As a Logistics Officer, you start in a position in the field of Supply Chain Management, Transport, Procurement, Warehousing & Distribution, Facilities Management, or Operational Logistics. As an officer, as you grow, you may be eligible for various positions within Operations, such as squadron commander or staff officer for logistical planning and Instruction/Education.
