Under the guidance of an anesthesiologist/intensivist, you will be responsible for the medical care of patients on an IC within a team of five colleagues. During exercises and deployments, a medical unit builds up its capabilities by means of training and simulation exercises, which are tailored to the specific needs of the military. As an IC nurse, you will be part of this team and will work closely together with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include: • Providing medical care to patients on an IC, under the guidance of an anesthesiologist/intensivist; • Participating in training and simulation exercises to maintain and improve your skills; • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care; • Maintaining accurate records of patient care and treatment; • Adhering to the rules and regulations of the Landmacht regarding medical care.
