Human Resources Officer (VWO)

Introduction

Would you like to be trained as an HR advisor in a large, unique organization? And do you have a VWO diploma or a propaedeutic certificate from higher professional education? As a Human Resources Officer, you will advise managers and employees of the Royal Netherlands Air Force on P&O-related matters.

What you will do

Your work as a Human Resources Officer in the Air Force is comparable to that of an HR advisor in civilian society. You will support and advise managers and employees across the full spectrum of HR processes, thereby contributing to the achievement of Air Force objectives. But there are also differences compared to a job in civilian society. As an HR advisor, you work, as it were, right in the middle of the airplanes and helicopters. And because our military personnel can be deployed worldwide, you may also be deployed abroad. As an HR professional or in another role.

Where you will work

You will work at one of the Air Force units, located throughout the country. Before you start working, you will follow the four-year Military Scientific Education (MWO) at the Royal Military Academy in Breda and a specialized training of several months.
