Just like other ministries, the Ministry of Defence must be mindful of its finances. There is therefore a great deal of attention to financial sustainability. Do you want to contribute as a leader to an efficient Air Force? Then apply as Officer Finance & Control.

What you will do

As Officer Finance & Control, you will advise on financial policy and lead its implementation and control. The broad outlines of financial policy are set by the Air Force Staff. The Air Force units further develop that policy in sub-aspects such as training and education, maintenance, personnel, and finances. As a controller, you act as the financial conscience and are responsible for the budget, management information, operational management structure, and financial management.

Where you will work

You will work at one of the Air Force units, which are located throughout the Netherlands.
Before you start as an Officer Finance & Control, you will follow a Military Scientific Education (MWO) at the Royal Military Academy (KMA) in Breda and a vocational training. The Military Scientific Education to be followed is the bachelor's degree in Military Business Administration (MBW).
