As an Officer of Naval Sciences (VWO), you will be part of the Royal Netherlands Navy's officer corps. You will be trained to lead a unit that is deployable worldwide under all circumstances. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: - Leading and managing a team of naval personnel; - Conducting operations at sea and ashore; - Maintaining and improving the operational readiness of your unit; - Participating in international exercises and missions; - Developing and implementing policies and procedures for your unit. You will be stationed on board a ship or at one of our bases, depending on the needs of the Navy.
