Office/Van Driver – RG7 | Full-Time Permanent Role We’re recruiting for a versatile Office/Van Driver to join a busy team in the RG7 area. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a dynamic business, ideally with experience in the hire or construction industry. Location: RG7 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm Pay: £28,500 - £30,000 depending on experience Contract Type: Permanent Role Overview: This is a dual-role position combining office support with delivery and collection duties. You will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service, ensuring the smooth running of the office, and the safe and timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities: * Delivery and Collection: * Safely load and unload goods onto the van. * Deliver and collect goods to and from customer sites. * Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition. * Complete all necessary paperwork accurately. * Follow all traffic regulations and company policies. * Office Support: * Answer the telephone and direct calls. * Provide administrative support as required. * Assist with general office duties. * Maintain a clean and tidy office environment. * Customer Service: * Provide excellent customer service at all times. * Communicate professionally with customers. * Resolve any customer queries or issues efficiently. * Vehicle Maintenance: * Carry out daily vehicle checks. * Report any vehicle defects to the relevant person. * Keep the van clean and tidy. Requirements: * Full UK driving license. * Previous experience in a driving role. * Good communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent time management skills. * Strong customer service skills. * Ability to work under pressure. * Experience in the hire or construction industry is desirable but not essential.
