Office Manager (Italian Speaker)

Etjca Group, for a client company active in engineering, electronics, and systems with interesting projects underway, is looking for a Technical Office Manager (Italian Speaker) to join a new initiative in Antwerp, Belgium, for one year. Main Responsibilities -Planning and Design: - Review project drawings, isometrics, and specifications to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes and project requirements; - Conduct site investigations, assessing soil conditions, environmental impact, accessibility, foundation release, steel structures, equipment, piping, and insulation; - Contribute to budget preparation, including materials, labor, equipment, and other resources; • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. -Project Execution: - Oversee on-site and workshop activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations; - Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow; - Manage resources, including work preparation, materials, equipment, and personnel; - Collaborate with the quality department to conduct inspections and maintain quality standards; - Troubleshoot technical issues, including technical queries, spooling, cutting lists, as-built drawings, material traceability, and weld history sheets; - Maintain detailed project documentation, progress reports, and records of changes. -Specialized Tasks: - Provide technical expertise in areas such as structural engineering or mechanical systems; - Use CAD and other software tools (PDF creator, MS Excel) to create plans, databases, and reports. -Communication and Collaboration: - Provide regular updates to the Site Manager, Project Manager, and stakeholders on project status; - Interact with clients, addressing technical concerns and providing solutions; - Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to subcontractors. Qualifications • VCA certification is required; - Proven experience as a Construction Technical Engineer or similar role; - Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical systems; - Proficiency in CAD and MS Excel; - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
