Odoo & Process Digitization (m/f/d)

KODRA GmbH & Co. KG is a German manufacturer of hygiene systems for hospitals and care facilities, and the inventor of the bedpan washer. For over 90 years, we have been developing and producing "Made in Germany" thermal disinfection solutions – from standalone devices to modular systems for complete soiled utility rooms.

Odoo is already in use with us.
Now, the task is to bring the last remaining systems, workflows, and data into ODOO and to develop them consistently further: from sales, service, and maintenance through production and purchasing to key figures, reporting, and management control.

You will work closely with management and the specialist departments. You will translate requirements into functioning processes, manage external partners, and ensure that Odoo is truly used in everyday operations.

Responsibilities

Shape the digital working methods of a medium-sized manufacturing company at KODRA.

Your tasks

Odoo & Process Digitization

• You will further develop our Odoo landscape together with the specialist departments and external service providers.
• You will analyze existing processes, identify media breaks, and automate sensible workflows.
• You will accompany the introduction and optimization of Odoo modules for sales, service/maintenance, purchasing, production, and reporting.
• You will develop key figures and dashboards for operational and strategic management.
• You will document processes, configurations, and interfaces in a comprehensible manner.
• You will train users and build Odoo expertise within the company.

IT Coordination & Operations

• You will coordinate external IT and software service providers and ensure smooth collaboration.
• You will support the integration of further systems and the further development of our digital infrastructure.
• You will ensure transparent responsibilities, IT documentation, authorization structures, and pragmatic monitoring.
• You will be the point of contact for more complex user questions; however, standard operational support should not be the focus of your role.

Your profile

• Experience with Odoo – ideally in the introduction, further development, or operation of a medium-sized company.
• Understanding of commercial and operational processes, preferably in production, service, or a technical B2B environment.
• You can structure requirements from specialist departments and translate them into implementable solutions.
• Experience in managing external service providers and coordinating IT/digitization projects.
• You work independently, pragmatically, and reliably.
• You want to actively build a digital company platform, not just administer.

Qualifications

Ideally, you bring:

• Experience with Odoo, or alternatively comparable cloud solutions with automation and development of modern IT landscapes
• Initial professional experience in IT administration, system engineering, or IT support
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and networks
• Interest in automation, cloud, and modern IT architectures
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Enjoyment of taking responsibility and making things better
