Ocean Import Analyst

To be the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent, professional, and cordial service, seeking operational improvements on a daily basis and acting constantly in the best options for service and tariff;

Understand the services of Maritime Companies / Co-loaders and available capacity to serve the local market;

Know different types of customers and goods transported;

Know the process of importation and exportation according to local procedures and product (internal policies);

Have mastery of pricing and credit conditions for clients;

Develop relationships with clients on the portfolio;

Develop relationships with service providers;

Create and update Operational Procedures for each client attended (SOP) regularly

Making follow-up and updating embarkment systems according to operational routine stipulated by the manager;

Register new embarkments on official company platforms;

Check and approve embarkment documents (when necessary) and ensure everything is in compliance;

Daily update of embarkments according to internal system information and maritime companies;

Manage automatic alerts for clients;

Send arrival alerts with final documents to clients (Pre-alert);

Monitor daily activities with clients and communicate any inconsistencies to the Manager and Supervisor/Coordinator;

Offer support to Management / Supervision in performance evaluation meetings with clients, as well as operational needs of the day-to-day;

Audit electronic folders for each embarkment to ensure we have all documents and communications properly saved internally.
