The Opportunity

Support Pathways is a dynamic organisation offering a holistic approach to disability support, providing Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Support Work and Support Coordination services to participants across Victoria.

We’re seeking a casual Occupational Therapist to join our clients team servicing Geelong region, Bellarine Peninsula and Surf-Coast Peninsula.

This position will work with adults and adolescents with psychosocial and physical disabilities, including mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disabilities. As part of our client's team, this position will primarily support NDIS participants aged between 7 and 65.

The Role

As the Occupational Therapist, you will:

• Assessing NDIS participants and determining their functional capacity and skill level through a range of clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Manage your own calendar.
• Collaborate with participants, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centred care.
• Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain detailed participant records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure optimal participant outcomes.
• Construct reports and letters for our NDIS participants (for example, Functional Capacity Assessment report, Plan Review report, Assistive Technology reports, Supported Independent Living reports).

About You

To be successful in this position, our ideal candidate:

• Familiarity with Halaxy or similar practice management software is highly desirable.
• Is proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; experience with Xero is highly regarded.
• Currently holds, or is willing to obtain, a NDIS Screening Check, Police Check, and Working With Children Check (WWCC). Please note: we will facilitate these checks through the recruitment process, if required.
• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• Valid drivers license
• Registration through AHPRA with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia

• Knowledge of mental health services and funding systems, including NDIS, Medicare, TAC, and WorkCover.
