About the Role:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to take on a community role on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Every day will be different, but your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating older aged care, DVA and NDIS participants in the community
  • Developing effective therapy and rehabilitation programs to assist your clients in achieving their individual goals
  • Producing quality reports
  • Ensuring the effective and safe delivery of client care
  • Developing your skillset, participating in CPD, and multi-disciplinary clinical review meetings

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Strong ability to assess NDIS clients with a diverse range of acute and chronic paediatric conditions
  • Established OT skills in AT prescription, environmental modification and therapy planning related to this caseload
  • A passion and drive to make a difference
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience developing and delivering projects and a demonstrated ability to build new services is highly desirable
  • An ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • High-level clinical skills and reasoning
  • Accurate and articulate report writing abilities
  • Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill set and career
  • Current drivers licence
  • Current police check
  • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
