Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in the community with individuals aged 15 and over with disabilities
• Identify needs and train clients for independence
• Prescribe equipment such as wheel chairs
• Conduct housing modification assessments
• Provide education, advocacy, and 24-hour posture management
• Promote equitable health outcomes

Skills and Experience

• Must be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand, and hold a current APC
• Hold a current full and clean driver's license with reliable transport
• Knowledge and experience in the Disability sector is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and whanau
