We're on the hunt for a passionate, dedicated, Occupational Therapist to join our team in New Plymouth. Immerse yourself in all that the beautiful Taranaki region has to offer - It's the ultimate playground for outdoor enthusiasts!
About the role
Reporting to your Team Leader, you’ll be part of a vibrant team culture that supports and empowers each other every day.
Concussion Service
- Skilled in assessing and treating concussion and mild to moderate traumatic brain injury
- Experience in assessing and treating cervical spine, vestibular, oculomotor systems
- Collaborative approach with GPs, specialists and the wider multi-disciplinary team
Community Rehabilitation Services
- Provide rehabilitation and support to individuals within their community
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to help clients achieve their rehab goals
- Knowledge of community services pathways
What you’ll do
- Use your clinical expertise to support clients in homes, workplaces, and communities —no two days are the same
- Deliver care that aligns with our strong internal focus on excellence and outcomes

What you’ll bring
- A drive to make a difference and deliver outstanding care
- High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a spectrum of client needs
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Proven ability to deliver client-centered rehabilitation in community
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
- At least 2 years’ experience working within concussion and community rehabilitation services.
