Senior Physician (m/f/d) Gastroenterology in Rendsburg

Your Tasks – Here's what you can look forward to

• Holistic Patient Care: You will take on the specialist medical care of inpatients and outpatients across the entire spectrum of gastroenterology and internal medicine.
• Endoscopic Expertise: You will independently perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies and supervise them, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, as well as participate in ERCP and endosonography.
• Medical Responsibility: You will share responsibility for ward management, conduct rounds, manage treatment cases, and coordinate interdisciplinarily.
• Promoting Further Training: You will supervise junior doctors and actively engage in medical training and further education.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You will work closely with the other sections of the Center for Internal Medicine, as well as with surgical, radiological, and other specialist departments.
• Strategic Co-Design: You will participate in the further development of medical concepts, clinical pathways, and quality standards and will be part of the on-call and backup service.

• You are a specialist (m/f/d) in Internal Medicine; additional specializations such as Gastroenterology or Diabetology would complement your profile ideally, but are not strictly required.
• You have solid experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and possess basic knowledge of endosonography and ERCP or the willingness for structured further qualification.
• You are proficient with clinical information systems (KIS), particularly in the areas of documentation, performance management, and coding.
• You work in a structured, independent, and responsible manner, demonstrating strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
• You impress with strong team and cooperation skills, as well as high communication competence in an interdisciplinary and multiprofessional environment.
• You are interested in the conceptual further development of medical processes, quality assurance, and enjoy medical training and further education.
