Consultant Physician Internal Medicine (all genders)

Kittsee | Part-time / full-time | Start Date: As of now

Our Kittsee Clinic, located in the far north of Burgenland, combines tradition with modernity. Our Internal Medicine department at the Kittsee site has 29 beds and an IMCU with 4 beds. The focus areas are Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Diabetology. An affiliated ward for Acute Geriatrics and Remobilization enables additional specializations. The department includes an Endoscopy Unit with approximately 3,000 examinations annually. Outpatient care includes general internal medicine patients via the ZAE around the clock, as well as specialized outpatient clinics with appointment scheduling. Additionally, the outpatient care of oncological patients takes place at the Kittsee site.

Your Area of Expertise

• Specialist diploma in Internal Medicine

• Endoscopy experience is an advantage, but not a requirement

• Diploma in Acute Geriatrics is an advantage, but not a requirement

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Social competence and flexibility

Your employment is planned for a working time of 50-100%. The gross annual salary, with appropriate qualifications, based on a 40-hour week, is at least €132,643,- (B2/20, including market allowance).

For a 48-hour week including extended shifts, the starting salary for a Consultant Physician in their first year of practice is approximately €153,000,-. Your salary can increase significantly through relevant professional experience. Furthermore, the acquisition of additional qualifications, ongoing further education, and career opportunities are a focus for us.
