Senior Physician (m/w/d) Anesthesiology & Intensive Care

Region: North Rhine-Westphalia

We are looking for a further Senior Physician (m/w/d) Anesthesiology & Intensive Care for a large maximum provider in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The clinic operates as a perioperative service provider and performs approximately 11,500 anesthetics, consultations, and acute pain treatments per year. Patient care often begins preclinically through the emergency medical service, which records around 4,000 interventions annually. On the operative intensive care units, approximately 1,400 patients are treated per year, while in the pain ambulatory care center, around 500 patients are cared for. With a team of 33 physicians, the clinic is the largest in-house and well-suited for interdisciplinary cooperation.

As part of further personnel growth and expansion of the clinic, we are looking for a new Senior Physician (m/w/d) for Anesthesiology & Intensive Care.

Professional Requirements

• Completed specialist training as a specialist doctor (m/w/d) for anesthesiology
  
• Relevant experience in anesthesiology, preferably with another area such as intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain medicine, or similar
  
• Outstanding service orientation towards patients, cooperation partners, and assignees, striving for continuous improvement
  
• Very good understanding of the balance between medical and economic issues
  
• Empathy and emotional intelligence, high sensitivity and flexibility in dealing with various stakeholders
  
• Excellent collaboration skills and willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation
  

Task Spectrum

• Takes over joint responsibility for the further development of the department
  
• Participation in the background service of the clinic for anesthesiology, operative intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, pain therapy
  
• Safeguarding medical performance and patient care at the highest level and with the latest medical standards
  
• Fachliche support to the clinic and team under performance, motivation, and fairness aspects as well as cross-sectional guarantee of further education for the department
  
• Constructive and trust-based cooperation with management and leading staff members
  
• If interested, medical career development will be sustainably promoted through the possibility of a doctorate and/or habilitation
