We're looking for an experienced and committed Home Manager to lead a small 15-bed nursing home in Dover, specialising in care for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and other complex needs.

This is a well-established service in a quiet residential area, with easy access to public transport and local amenities. The home offers both permanent and respite placements and provides care for a range of needs including older adults, younger adults, autism, COPD, stroke recovery, and end-of-life care.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, leading a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The service has capacity for up to 15 residents, allowing you to focus on individual support rather than high-volume management.

This is a hands-on management role where you'll be involved in everything from staffing and training to compliance and care planning.

We're keen to hear from applicants who:

• Have solid management experience in a nursing or specialist care setting

• Have specific experience supporting people with learning disabilities

• Are confident managing teams and running a service to a high standard

• Have a stable work history - we're looking for someone who's reliable and committed, not moving from job to job

• Hold (or are working towards) NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

• Lift and stairlift access throughout

• Pet-friendly (by arrangement)

• Residents can bring their own furniture

• Smoke-free environment

• Minibus/transport for trips and appointments

• Close to shops and public transport links

• £40,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience
