Nursery Chef

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic chef to become a part of our fantastic team at Nursery Lane Day Nursery and Preschool ; 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday and a competitive salary of £12.52 p/h. You'll have the rewarding role of preparing delicious, nutritionally balanced meals for our children, never forgetting to cater to any specific dietary needs or allergies. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the nursery kitchen with efficiency Keeping track of food supplies Upholding high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area Preparing and serving a variety of healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any special dietary requirements or allergies Providing support and guidance to the nursery staff on meal times and snack times Maintaining accurate records of food stock levels and ordering new supplies as needed Developing and implementing menus that cater to the diverse needs of our children and their families. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, creativity, and strong communication skills are essential.
