What you have to do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care: acute, chronic, preventative and continuity clinics.
  • Build and manage your patient panel with a focus on equity and outcomes for Māori, Pacific and all communities.
  • Contribute to clinical quality initiatives, recalls, and proactive care plans.
  • Collaborate across the network-shared protocols, peer support and MDT input.

Skills and Experience

  • Registration in the Nurse Practitioner scope with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (including prescribing authority)
  • Sound clinical judgement and service skills that let you use your full scope
  • Excellent communication and a warm, people-first approach
  • Commitment to culturally safe practice and improving access and outcomes
  • Legal right to work in NZ
