Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner with a background in general practice to join a warm and collaborative team in Tauranga. You'll be working in a supportive environment alongside dedicated GPs, nurses, and administrative professionals, with support from an experienced General Manager. This position is based in a spacious, modern medical centre, complemented by two satellite clinics located just 10 minutes away.

What you have to do

• Provide comprehensive, autonomous patient care
• Perform assessments, make diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
• Conduct health screenings and prescribe medications
• Offer personalised health advice with a compassionate, proactive approach
• Care for patients across all age groups and a wide range of conditions
• Collaborate with a supportive team including GPs, nurses, admin staff, and the Medical Centre Manager
• Utilise clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Skills and Experience

• Current NZNC registration as a Nurse Practitioner with a valid APC (essential)
• Strong alignment with the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Proven ability to deliver advanced clinical nursing care in primary health
• Previous experience in a medical centre setting (advantageous)
• Committed to improving healthcare access for all patient groups
