As a Nurse Extern you will be a valued member of the care team. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced nurses and other healthcare professionals to gain valuable hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings. What you will do in this role: Assist with patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Observe and learn from experienced nurses in a variety of clinical settings. Assist with basic patient care tasks, such as taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing comfort and support to patients. Participate in unit-based activities and meetings. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications you will need: Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, with completion of at least one clinical rotation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
