NÜRNBERG - Station Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks as Site Manager

• Manage the station: You will be responsible for the daily business at your station in Nuremberg and ensure smooth operations with your team and our central departments.

• Lead the team: You will lead your team with structured onboarding, clear shift planning, and regular feedback.

• Find talent: You will be responsible for recruiting for your station and bringing on board people who share our passion.

• Manage the fleet: You will keep an overview of our campers on-site, ensure their impeccable condition, and coordinate closely with local service partners.

• Improve processes: You will implement our standards and contribute your own ideas, e.g., for faster vehicle handovers and returns.

• Advise customers: You will be the point of contact for all camper rental inquiries: from vehicle handover with instructions to return. This is how you send customers off on Europe's roads as happy roadsurfers.

• Internationally networked: You will regularly exchange ideas with roadsurfer teams in other countries.

What you bring

• Completed apprenticeship, degree, or a comparable qualification

• At least 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in car rental, tourism, or hospitality. Career changers are very welcome!

• Empathy and a desire to lead a team supportively

• Strong service orientation and enjoyment of open, friendly communication

• Hands-on mentality: You get involved and find pragmatic solutions

• Very good German and English skills as well as a Class B driver's license
  

Nice to have

• Initial experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Station Manager

• Experience in fleet management or vehicle rental

We ❤️ transparency. The salary band for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 44,000 gross annually. We are currently introducing salary bands in our job descriptions to ensure that all employees are treated fairly. Once we get to know each other better during the application process and can assess your skills and experience more precisely, we will find out together which level within the salary band suits you best. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year in an annual feedback interview.
