Your tasks as Site Manager

• Manage Station: You will be responsible for the daily business at your station in Nuremberg and, with your team and our central departments, ensure smooth operations.

• Lead Team: You will lead your team with structured onboarding, clear shift planning, and regular feedback.

• Find Talents: You will be responsible for recruiting for your station and bringing people on board who share our passion.

• Manage Fleet: You will keep an overview of our campers on-site, ensure their impeccable condition, and coordinate closely with local service partners.

• Improve Processes: You will implement our standards and contribute your own ideas, e.g., for faster vehicle handovers and returns.

• Advise Customers: You will be the point of contact for all camper rental inquiries: from vehicle handover with instruction to return. This is how you send customers onto the roads of Europe as happy roadsurfers.

• Internationally Connected: You will regularly exchange ideas with roadsurfer teams in other countries.

What you bring

• Completed apprenticeship, degree, or a comparable qualification

• At least 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in car rental, tourism, or hospitality. Career changers are very welcome!

• Empathy and a desire to lead a team supportively

• Strong service orientation and enjoyment of open, friendly communication

• Hands-on mentality: You roll up your sleeves and find pragmatic solutions

• Very good German and English language skills as well as a Class B driver's license

Nice to have

• Initial experience as a Team Lead, Shift Lead, or Station Manager

• Experience in fleet management or vehicle rental

We ❤️ transparency. The salary band for this position is between 42,000 EUR and 44,000 EUR gross annually. We are currently introducing salary bands in our job descriptions to ensure that all employees are treated fairly. Once we get to know each other better during the application process and can assess your skills and experience more precisely, we will find out together which level within the salary band best suits you. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year during an annual feedback discussion.
