About this opportunity As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures on patients. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment, as well as preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals. What you will do in this role: * Administers radiopharmaceuticals and performs nuclear medicine procedures, as prescribed by the physician. * Performs patient care duties, including preparing patients for procedures and explaining procedures to patients. * Operates and maintains nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras, computers, and dose calibrators. * Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals. * Maintains accurate records of procedures and patient information. * Adheres to safety protocols and procedures. * Cleans and maintains work areas. * Participates in quality assurance activities. * Works with the Nuclear Medicine team to meet the needs of the patients and the department. Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: * Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required. * ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required. * Current BLS certification required. * Previous nuclear medicine experience preferred. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
