Job description

We are seeking an NPD Project Manager who will be responsible for implementing new products from A to Z, i.e. from client agreements to serial production launch.

This is a job in the office of our company in Łódź + business trips, which may account for around 20-30% of working time.

Your tasks:

  • Managing projects implementing new products for clients - from feasibility analysis, through participation in tests, product validation (PPAP) to serial production launch
  • Gathering requirements and specifications from clients and their technical elaboration in cooperation with the sales team and engineers
  • Analyzing key performance indicators of production, technical calculations, process design
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing processes and equipment regarding costs, efficiency, and resource utilization
  • Creating technical documentation: drawings, instructions, specifications (URS)
  • Tech support for clients and supporting Key Account Managers in product communication
  • Collaboration with the purchasing department when evaluating and selecting engineering concepts and suppliers
  • Participation in projects improving (product, process, quality, efficiency, productivity)
  • Conducting training sessions and presentations for clients and internal teams
  • Reporting to local and global management

What we expect:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related field)
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in managing technical projects / implementing new products into production (preferably from the metal industry)
  • Experience in contact with a business client
  • Very good knowledge of English language - spoken and written - necessary condition
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
  • Very good knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar software
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • Self-motivation, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Willingness to participate in business trips (Europe, approximately 20-30% of working time)
